Yesterday (Saturday) was another glorious day and I decided to pack my rucsac and head for the hills. Parked the car in Glen Torridon and set of to walk to Coire Mhic Fhearchair on the north side of Beinn Eighe in order to view the mighty Triple Buttress. It took me two and a half hours to get there and it was one of those magical days, whenever I stopped for a rest to get my pounding heart under control and to get some air into my lungs, all you could hear was the sound of silence, no tinkling streams, no birds, no sheep, no cars, no planes, no wind, just total utter silence, pure magic. Didn't see another human all the way there, just these wonderful views opening up in front of me as I head further into the hills.

When I arrived at the coire unfortunately the sun was in the wrong place and the photographs of the Triple Buttress are not the best I've ever taken.

I had to include this next picture, it was taken in 1975 on my second visit to the coire and shows Malcolm and Nigel attempting a climb on the central buttress - where has the time gone!!!
The following few pictures where taken on various trips out over the past few weeks.
