My mooch round Folkestone this morning coincided with a visit from the Dover lifeboat. This is a Severn class boat and currently the largest in the RNLI fleet, it has a top speed of 25 knots and a ranch of 250 nautical miles.
I just love the directions on the signpost and it sums up my life at present.
