The view through my windows this morning, frozen rain has been falling for some hours and everything is encased in ice. The roads, pavements, driveway all lethal. Was going to call the RAC out to my car today but there is no point, I think the battery will have to be replaced and I think the diesel fuel has probably waxed up due to the cold. More snow is expected across this part of Kent later today but then they forecast a rise in temperature over the weekend. Numerous crashes on the M20 in the last couple of hours and large sections of it are now closed due to black ice and wrecked vehicles.
